I don’t know about you, but I am always so saddened when I am covered in poison ivy. This typically tells me that I was not present while working outside and I have greatly disrespected a plant that obviously demands our respect. Unfortunately, this is just too common with not only myself, but also many others! When a friend of mine suffered a poison ivy related rash over most of her body, this spray was the ONLY remedy that offered any relief (even above prescribed steroids!). By offering this poison relief remedy in a spray, it will prevent the rash from spreading and worsening (although there are discrepancies on whether poison related rashes can spread, so please do your research and use your best judgement on what works best for you).
I ethically wild harvest Jewelweed deep in our Lancaster county woods where it grows next to streams and close to nettles. Jewelweed is renowned for itchy rashes that arise from stinging nettles and poison ivy. I then combine this with lavender, calendula, mugwort, and plantain and steep this power house of soothing herbs in astringent apple cider vinegar for a full moon cycle. Of course, the smell of apple cider vinegar is prominent, however, lavender essential oil, that also soothes this irritation, slightly masks this smell.
Poison Relief Spray is by far one of my best sellers at farmers markets! This is a seasonal product and when I sell out, it is gone until the next season!
Comes in a 2oz amber plastic bottle with a fine mist sprayer.
I use either plants from my garden that are well loved and cared for, wild-crafted, or certified organic materials that are sustainably harvested for future generations.
